Email from Sam Slaven
Asalaam Alaikum (Peace be with you),
It is always a thrill for me to connect with amazing people through this blog. I just received an email today that made my day. In September, I blogged about an episode of This American Life about Sam Slaven, a U.S. veteran, who took it upon himself to learn about Islam and meet Muslims to overcome his PTSD.
Then today, I received this email from the man himself. It was short and sweet ("and I knew it complete"), but here goes:
